It’s been a long week, I’m not going to lie. When I sat down yesterday to think about what I wanted to create in the Eat Fit Not Fat kitchen, I really couldn’t come up with anything fabulous. And the thought of roaming the grocery store for ingredients today was even less attractive. With a little brain storming and the thought of Friday quickly approaching we came up with our version of the “fit margarita”. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves to have a cocktail once in a while whether you’re on a diet or not. We ditched the super sweet margarita mix that’s packed with sugar and calories that you find at your local grocery store and replaced it with fresh ingredients with more flavor and less calories. Trust me, you will not miss your old Marg mix. We paired our Margarita’s tonight with spicy blue chips and homemade guacamole.
Your Mixings for 2 Margaritas
4 oz of your favorite tequila, 4 oz of fresh squeezed lime juice, 2 oz of Orange Juice, salt, 2 limes wedges for garnish
