Inspired by a friend who has run 200 days in a row and in dire need of getting back to regular exercise, Papa Biscotti (appropriately named) and I set out to exercise every day in June. As you can see by the accompanying calendars, WE DID IT!

I will confess there were a couple of days where life got in the way and we were out walking at ten o’clock at night to get our time in to get on the board, but we accomplished what we set out to do. Now, I know walking, which made up the majority of our AFP, isn’t the most strenuous of exercises compared to what our 2FNS leaders are doing. The point is, you don’t have to be a super athlete to participate and have fun. And you do have to start somewhere, especially after a period of relative inactivity. Hopefully we can continue our streak into July and increase the intensity of our workouts. Especially if a certain cookie lover expects to participate in the September sprint triathlon with the other Fat Nerds. Stay tuned!
